Mike is a civil litigator with particular expertise in construction law, representing public and private sector owners and contractors. He provides strategic counsel at all stages of a project. Mike advises clients navigating disputes on projects of varying complexity, from small design-builds to large public facilities, and regularly assists clients before formal dispute processes are engaged. Where conflict arises, he takes a practical, result-oriented approach to dispute resolution always tailored to his clients’ goals.
Mike also regularly assists clients with discharging and enforcing builders lien claims, and maintains a practice in employment and commercial litigation. He previously worked at a large, national litigation firm and brings to bear broad litigation experience to advance his clients’ interests. Mike frequently appears before the BC Supreme Court.
Mike received his Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria in 2018. Outside of his practice, Mike enjoys downhill skiing at the local hills and Sun Peaks in the Interior, cooking for friends and family, and spending time with his wife and kids.
