Amanda represents both public and private sector employers in workplace law matters, with a particular focus on occupational health and safety and workers’ compensation issues. She takes a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to finding effective solutions for her clients.
Amanda has assisted clients in a variety of civil litigation proceedings at all levels of court in British Columbia as well as in reviews and appeals before the WorkSafeBC Review Division and Workers’ Compensation Appeal Tribunal. She regularly advises employers on WorkSafeBC-related matters, including workers’ compensation claims for workplace injuries and occupational diseases, bullying and harassment complaints, and prohibited action complaints.
Prior to joining Harris & Company, Amanda worked at a leading boutique litigation firm in Vancouver.
She is presently on the Board of Directors for the BC Municipal Safety Association.
