Definition of Spouse Amendment Act Receives Third Reading

Bill 21, the Definition of Spouse Amendment Act received third reading in the BC legislature on July 5, 2000. Most of it will come into force upon regulation. It amends the definition of the term spouse in a large number of statutes to include same sex couples.
