Mentorship
Our students are assigned to a principal who is a partner of the firm and has primary responsibility for ensuring the quality of the articling or summer experience. The principals meets with the student formally to discuss and evaluate progress, but also informally, to provide advice, guidance and mentorship.
Students are also matched with an associate mentor who provides direct day-to-day help, mentoring and advice.
Student Committee members are also committed to ensuring our students have a positive and valuable articling or summer term and act as an additional resource for students.
As well as benefitting from our established mentorship arrangements, students will find that the value we as a firm place on collegiality promotes a work environment in which students and lawyers work collaboratively together. We also like to spend time together socially.
