Increased demands, evolving case law, and escalating liabilities in this area combine to create significant practical challenges for employers. This half-day workshop provides an overview on accommodation with the latest legal developments and their impact in the workplace.

Topics to be discussed include:

  • The employer's duty to accommodate, when does it arise and what does it require?
  • How do you know when you've reached the point of undue hardship?
  • What must be accommodated - and what need not be?
  • What about the accommodation process? Can the employer be liable based on process alone?
