Terri is a partner at Harris & Company where she represents school boards on a wide range of education, labour and employment law issues.

Terri received her B.A. (Hons.) from Simon Fraser University and LL.B. from the University of British Columbia. She was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 1986. Prior to joining Harris & Company, Terri practised education and labour law at a Vancouver law firm and as a contract lawyer with the BC School Trustees Association prior to joining Harris & Company.

In 1994 Terri completed a Ph.D. in education law at Simon Fraser University. Her dissertation focused on the impact of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms on public education. During the last 20 years, Terri has taught a variety of education law and labour law courses in the Faculties of Education at Simon Fraser University and Western Washington University and in the Conflict Analysis and Management Program at Royal Roads University. She is the author of several books and articles regarding education law issues, writes a monthly education law column for the BC School Trustees Association, and frequently presents seminars and workshops for school boards and other educational organizations throughout British Columbia.
