Magda graduated from the Law Co-op program at the University of Victoria in 2008. As a Co-op student, Magda worked as Federal and Provincial Crown Counsel, appearing regularly in Provincial Court. She also worked as a professor’s research assistant during law school in the areas of constitutional and social benefits law. In addition, Magda completed a clinical term at the UVic Law Centre during which she assisted clients with social benefits, employment and human rights matters.
Prior to attending law school, Magda received her BA (French) from the University of British Columbia in 2004. She also spent some time working as a professional dancer and teacher of English as a foreign language. Magda started with Harris & Company as a Co-op student in 2006. She became an articling student in 2008 and an associate in 2009. Magda practises in all areas of labour, employment and human rights law, and she is a member of our Aboriginal Employment Law Group.
Magda is a member of the Labour, Employment and Human Rights Law subsections of the Canadian Bar Association. She is also fluent in French and Polish.
