A partner of Harris & Company, Lindsie received a Bachelor of Commerce with a specialization in Industrial Relations Management from the University of British Columbia in 1994 and an LL.B. from the University of British Columbia in 1997 after having spent a summer in the legal department of the Labour Relations Board. In May 1997, Lindsie commenced articles with Harris & Company and was called to the British Columbia Bar in May 1998.
Lindsie has acted as counsel for a variety of private sector and public sector employers, including school boards and independent schools. She has represented employers at arbitration, in Employment Standards matters, BC College of Teachers' proceedings, Workers' Compensation matters, before the Labour Relations Board and Human Right Tribunal and in Provincial Court, Supreme Court and the BC Court of Appeal.
Lindsie co-authored the book A Practical Guide to Employment Standards in British Columbia, a valuable resource for managers and human resource professionals. Lindsie has also presented numerous seminars on a variety of topical labour and employment law issues and has been a guest lecturer at the University of British Columbia Faculty of Law.
In addition, Lindsie is a member of the Human Resources Management Association and the Labour Law and Human Rights subsections of the Canadian Bar Association.
