Jennifer received her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology from the University of Alberta in 2000 where she wrote a thesis on cognition. She participated in the Cooperative Program at the University, working for one year at the St. John Ambulance National Headquarters in London, England, where she did research and project development.

In 2004, Jennifer received her law degree from University of British Columbia. While at law school, she worked for the Program on Dispute Resolution, assisting with research projects involving small claims mediation and human rights. Jennifer spent her final term of law school studying labour, employment, human rights and European Union law in Paris at Universite Paris II, Pantheon-Assas.

Jennifer began working at Harris & Company as a summer student and, after articling with the firm, was called to the Bar and became an associate lawyer in September of 2005.

Jennifer is fluent in French and regularly advises French speaking clients. Jennifer also worked at an international financial institution on a temporary secondment in 2008/2009. On secondment, Jennifer advised the institution on numerous employment law and human resources related matters.

Jennifer regularly advises clients on a wide range of labour and employment matters and has authored papers and articles on various labour and employment topics.
