A partner of Harris & Company, Chris received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Western Ontario in 1990 and his LL.B. from the University of British Columbia in 1995. He joined Harris & Company as a summer student in 1994 and was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 1996.

Chris provides advice to provincial and federal employers in all aspects of labour and employment law. He appears regularly before the Labour Relations Board, labour arbitration boards, the Canada Industrial Relations Board and employment standards and human rights tribunals. He also assists clients in the collective bargaining process, including acting as spokesperson during negotiations.

Chris frequently presents seminars on topical issues in labour and employment law, and has been a guest lecturer at the UBC Faculty of Law.

Chris is an avid golfer and enjoys most outdoor sporting activities. He is also the captain of the Harris & Company basketball team for the annual charity basketball tournament sponsored by the legal community.
