On Saturday, amidst torrential downpours and flooded streets, Team Harris successfully completed the Haney to Harrison 100 km relay race.
The race, which attracted over 300 teams, requires 8 runners to complete a 100 km course from Haney to Harrison Hot Springs. Our able team of Chris Leenheer, Naz Mitha, Keith Murray, Meghan McCreary, Ryan Anderson, Kirsten Hume, Page Kendall and Paul McLean cut 23 minutes off of their 2002 showing - good for a finishing time of 9:12:00.
Special thanks to team volunteer Jamie Maclaren who braved the elements for two hours to provide traffic control for the relay organizers.
