On June 19 and 20, 2010, a team of Harris & Company lawyers will be participating in the Ride to Conquer Cancer in support of the BC Cancer Foundation. Our goal is to raise $20,000.00 in the fight against cancer.


The Ride begins in Vancouver and ends, two days and 250 km later, in Seattle. Over the past four months, our team of Matthew Cooperwilliams, Chris Leenheer, Paul McLean, Naz Mitha, Dianne Rideout and Joe Shaw have been cycling all over the Lower Mainland to prepare for the ride. Now intimately familiar with the road to Horseshoe Bay and the twists and turns of Cypress Mountain, they are ready to again hit the road to Seattle.


Why? Because cancer, sooner or later, touches all of us. Because we have all lost good family and friends. Because we have seen the tremendous advances in research which are helping beat cancer. Because we can.

We are pleased to announce that Lou Poskitt has joined Harris & Company LLP as an Associate. Lou received her BA (Honours) in Religious Studies from the University of Waterloo and an LL.B. from the University of British Columbia in 2009 Lou was called to the Bar of British Columbia in May 2010 after articling with Harris & Company.
