We are pleased to announce that Meghan McCreary has joined the firm. Meghan has acted as counsel before arbitration boards and labour relations boards, as well as trial and appellate courts. She practises generally in labour and employment law and has a particular interest in human rights law. Meghan received a Bachelor of Arts in English (Honours) from the University of Saskatchewan in 1995 and a law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1998.
Meghan served as a Senior Editor of the Osgoode Hall Law Journal and attended Osgoode Hall’s Intensive Programme in Poverty Law. The culmination of her work in that Programme was published in the Journal of Law and Social Policy. She clerked for the Chief Justice of the Court of Appeal for Saskatchewan and, in 1999, was called to the Saskatchewan Bar. In Saskatchewan, she practised civil litigation and management side labour and employment law with Saskatchewan’s largest law firm. She was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2001.

Our fearless basketball team duelled its way into the semi-finals in the annual HoopLaw basketball tournament, laying waste to lesser law firm teams. Although unable to take first place for a third consecutive year, we took top honours among law firms of forty lawyers or less for contributions to the Grizzlies Foundation, this year’s recipient of HoopLaw’s charitable fund raising.

We are pleased to announce that Keith Murray has become a partner of the firm. Keith joined our firm in 1999 after practising labour law at law firms in Toronto and Vancouver. He practices in the area of management labour and employment law.
