Harris & Company takes seriously its responsibilities as a corporate citizen. The firm, its lawyers and staff contribute to their communities in many ways.

We actively support and contribute to a number of charitable organizations. Our lawyers and staff participate in fund raising activities such as Run for the Cure, Dress Red Day, Bowl for Big Brothers, Climb the Wall, Hoop Law, Jeans Day and others. The United Way has honoured the firm’s annual fund raising drive with its Gold Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Community several times.

Harris & Company has for many years provided annual scholarships to worthy high school students throughout the Province. We host high school students who are interested in a law career, as part of their high school work experience programs. These activities are intended to encourage and assist students in the successful pursuit of their future careers.

Harris & Company are active in community service and arts organizations, often contributing their time and expertise as board members.

Our lawyers are also active within the professional community. They volunteer for activities of the B.C. Branch of the Canadian Bar Association and the Continuing Legal Education. They also teach at the University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University and Royal Roads University.
