Harris & Company has grown steadily since it was founded in 1992. The firm hires articling and summer students each year. Much of our growth has occurred through the retention of students that have articled with the firm. It is our wish and expectation that this tradition will continue.
Harris & Company provides articling and summer students with exposure to all aspects of labour and employment law. Our students attend arbitrations, Labour Relations Board hearings, Supreme Court trials, human rights hearings and examinations for discovery.
Our students are assigned to a principal who is a partner of the firm and has primary responsibility for ensuring the quality of the articling or summer experience.
Salary and Benefits
Salary and benefits at Harris & Company are competitive with the other top firms in Vancouver and are reviewed annually. The articling student's salary continues during PLTC, and we pay the PLTC registration fee. In addition, Harris & Company pays the articling student's tuition for third year law school, up to a maximum of $6,500.
Applications
We hire individuals who excel academically, have a diversity of interests, and have strong interpersonal skills. Interested applicants should forward their resumes, along with their transcripts and references, to Fran Doyle by mail or fax only. Fran Doyle is a partner with Harris & Company.
